Dalian Jiaotong University CSC Scholarship 2027–2028 | Master’s & PhD in China

Dalian Jiaotong University (DJTU) has announced its 2027–2028 Chinese Government Scholarship — High-Level Postgraduate Program for international students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees.

Scholarship Details

Scholarship Coverage and Duration

The scholarship covers:

• Tuition fees.
• Accommodation.
• Living allowance.
• Comprehensive medical insurance.

The final funding amounts and payment arrangements are subject to the CSC admission documents and university notification.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health.
• Have excellent academic performance.
• Meet the university’s academic, language and other admission requirements.

Master’s applicants: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; generally no older than 35.

PhD applicants: A master’s degree or equivalent; generally no older than 40.

All programs listed in this announcement are taught in Chinese. Applicants must provide a valid HSK Level 4 certificate.

Teaching language for all listed programs: Chinese.

Required Documents

1. Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form: Complete every required field in Chinese or English.
2. Passport Identity Page: Passport expiry must be later than September 2027.
3. Notarized Highest Academic Qualification: Current students may submit an official pre-graduation certificate or enrolment certificate.
4. Academic Transcripts: Provide records from undergraduate studies onward, including the latest semester. Transcripts must be issued and stamped by the relevant university department. Follow the notice’s translation and notarization requirements.
5. Valid HSK Certificate: Meeting the Chinese-language requirement.
6. Pre-admission Letter: Issued by DJTU after the applicant passes the university’s eligibility review and assessment.
7. Study Plan: Written in Chinese or English and exceeding 1,000 words/characters. A PhD applicant’s plan must be signed by a Chinese supervisor.
8. Two Recommendation Letters: Written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors, addressing the applicant’s abilities, study objectives and future potential.
9. Personal Portfolio, if applicable: For applicants to relevant art or design programs.
10. Guardian Documents, if applicable: Applicants under 18 must provide legal documents concerning their guardian in China.
11. Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Complete in English and retain the original. All required examinations, photograph, signatures and hospital stamps must be included. Results are valid for six months.
12. Non-Criminal Record Certificate: Issued by the relevant local police authority, normally within six months before application submission.

Upload clear, genuine and valid documents through the application system. Paper documents do not need to be mailed separately to the university.

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the CSC Online Application

Visit Campus China and enter the Chinese Government Scholarship application system.

Register an account and select:

• Program Category: Type B
• Agency Number: 10150
• University: Dalian Jiaotong University

Complete the application and upload the required documents.

Step 2: Email Your CSC Application Form

After submitting online, download the completed Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form and email it to:

Complete your application before 20 February 2027.

Step 3: Upload Your Pre-admission Letter

The university reviews applications and issues pre-admission letters to recommended candidates.

After receiving the letter, log back into the CSC system and supplement your application with the university’s pre-admission document.

Step 4: Await Final Selection

DJTU submits its recommended candidates to CSC for expert review. University recommendation does not guarantee the scholarship; final selection depends on CSC approval.

The university will notify successful applicants.

Important Conditions

• Scholarship recipients must participate in the annual scholarship review.
• Other Chinese government or university scholarships cannot be held simultaneously, apart from one-time awards.
• Bring original application documents for verification at registration.
• Applicants using a pre-graduation certificate must present their final graduation certificate when registering.
• DJTU states that it has not authorized individuals or agents to recruit students for this scholarship.
