Required Documents List Capital Normal University CSC Scholarship 2026

1. CNU Application Form for International Students.(Please stick the photo and ensure that the application form is signed by the applicant and his/her guarantor. Please upload this form as “Other Forms” in CSC online application system. (Agency No: 10028)
2. Recommendation Letters from professors or associated professors. Priority will be given to applicants who provide Acceptance Letter from supervisors at CNU.
3. Academic Transcript. (Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.)
Applicants for master’s degree program need to provide their undergraduate transcript.
Applicants for doctoral degree program need to provide their master’s degree transcript.
4. Notarized certificate of highest education in Chinese or English. (The certificate of highest education should be notarized and should be written in Chinese or English.)
Applicants for master’s degree program need to provide bachelor’s degree certificate and graduation certificate.
Applicants for doctoral degree program need to provide master’s degree certificate and graduation certificate.
5. Language proficiency certificate.
Applicants for Chinese-instructed programs must provide HSK certificate.
Applicants for English-instructed programs must provide the certificate of TOEFL or IELTS test score. (English native speaker no need to provide)
6. Study plan in China. (No less than 1,500 words for doctoral students and no less than 1,000 words for master’s students). It should be written in Chinese or English and should include your educational background, understanding of China and your major, and plans for future studies. It should focus on demonstrating your academic ability and research level. The study plan submitted by doctoral applicants must be signed and confirmed by the supervisor of our university who intends to accept them.
