📘 Eligibility Criteria for Zhejiang University CSC Scholarship 2026–2027

To apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship at Zhejiang University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Nationality: Open to all international students (non-Chinese citizens).

2. Educational Background:

   • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applications.

   • Must hold a Master’s degree for PhD applications.

3. Age Limit:

   • Under 35 years for Master’s programs.

   • Under 40 years for PhD programs.

4. Academic Excellence: Strong academic record and research potential.

5. Language Requirement:

   • English-taught programs: English Proficiency Certificate, IELTS/TOEFL (if applicable).

   • Chinese-taught programs: HSK certificate (if applicable).

How to Apply For This

1. First, you Fill out the CSC online application form
2. Second Fill Out the ZJU University Online Application Form
3. Upload all required Documents
4. 800 RMB Application Fee (Application fee and tuition fee should be paid in the online application system. If one fails to make the online payment, then one MUST pay the fee to the University’s Bank Account (Link). Please mark application number and name when remitting, and upload the remittance letter to the System.)
5. No need to Send Hard Copies

1. CSC Online Application Form (Zhejiang University Agency Number for B Category 10335)
2. Fill the University online form
3. Paste a passport-size photo with a white background the size of (35mm×45mm)
4. Highest Degree Certificate (Notarized copy) If you are a university student then provide a Hope Certificate
5.  Transcripts of Highest Education (Notarized copy)
6. Personal statement, in Chinese or English, should include study and work experience, reasons for application, and study proposal. No less than 1500 words.
7.  Published academic papers (if available)
8. Two Recommendation Letters
9. Passport Copy
10. Physical Examination Form
    
11. Applicants should meet with Language Proficiency Requirements of Master’s and Doctoral Degree Programs at Zhejiang University for International Applicants (Download).
12. 2025 Version of Form for Provisional Acceptance of International Student by ZJU supervisor. Click Here to Download (this form is compulsory for all the scholarship applicants)
