Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
General scholars:
- Full-time undergraduate or Master’s students.
- No older than 45.
Senior scholars:
- Full-time doctoral students or faculty members.
- No older than 50.
Applicants must remain full-time students or faculty members at CSC overseas partner universities during both the application and participation periods.

The notice excludes the Chinese-language major from China Link applications.
Required Documents
- Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form, completed in Chinese or English.
- Highest academic qualification, enrollment certificate or employment certificate.
- Academic transcripts.
- Study or research plan of at least 500 words.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Record, valid for six months.
- Non-criminal record certificate, valid for six months.
- Scanned valid passport.
- Language proficiency certificate, if available.
- Additional supporting documents, if available.
Documents in other languages require Chinese or English translations. The brochure instructs applicants to upload the CSC application form in the university’s application system.
How to Apply
- Check the available programs.
- Complete the CSC Online Application, selecting Type B and agency number 10710.
- Submit the university application through the Chang’an University Application System.
- Pay the RMB 600 non-refundable application fee.
- The university reviews applications and recommends eligible candidates to CSC.
- CSC determines the scholarship results.
