Monthly Allowance: 1,000,000 KRW (Stipend is Same for Both Masters and Ph.D.) and 1,500,000 KRW

Eligibility Criteria For Korean Government Scholarship KGS

 

  1. All applicants must hold citizenship of NIIED designated countries that are invited to take part
    in the GKS program (almost all international students can apply)
    2. Master’s Program Applicants: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a Bachelor’s degree
    3.  Doctoral Program Applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a Master’s degree
    4. Research Program Applicants: Must have received an invitation from one of the partner universities and must meet the criteria
    5. Must be under 40 years of age (born after September 1, 1981)
    6. Academic professors who are under 45 years of age as of September 1, 2021 (born after
    September 1, 1976) and hold citizenship of one of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) ( For More Clearance, Click Here to watch the Video)
    7.  Grade Requirement: (C.G.P.A.: 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0)
    8. Physically Fit

  1. All-Academic Fields & Majors are available Under the Global Korea Scholarship for Masters & PhD

How to Apply For Korean Government Scholarship KGS

For applying for the Korean Government Scholarship you need to Prepare the Following Required Documents and Send them to University or Embassy (the applying track you selected)
Note: 1. Through University Track You You Send One Set of the following documents to the Desired University
2. Through Embassy Track You You Send 4 Sets of the Following documents to Your Home Country Korean Embassy
Important Note:  Through University Track You Can Choose Only One University but Through Embassy Track You can choose 3 Universities.
