How to Apply

Step 1: Apply Through SJTU

Register at the SJTU International Application Portal.

Complete the admission application and select “Apply for scholarships through SJTU.”

SGS consideration is integrated with the graduate admission application. SJTU does not require a separate SGS application under its published procedure.

Step 2: Complete the SAIF Application

Submit the SAIF MF International Application.

Complete both portals by 31 March 2027 for the published SGS round. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview.

Step 3: Check the Scholarship Result

Follow the application-system instructions and check the award decision through SJTU. Applicants not recommended for CSC through the university channel are automatically considered for other available scholarships, including SGS, without an extra application.

Is the CSC Portal Required?

A CSC application is not required solely to request SGS consideration. Follow SJTU’s integrated SGS procedure and complete the mandatory SAIF application.

If also pursuing CSC, follow its separate portal requirements and earlier deadlines. The SGS deadline does not extend the CSC application rounds.
